Description
ARDEX V 2001 T is cement based thermal insulation plate plastering mortar used on interior and exterior walls and facades. It’s mainly used meshed plastering of Expanded Polystyrene (XPS), Extruded Polystyrene (EPS), rock wool insulation plates and cementitious structural panels. Suitable for concrete, cementitious plaster, bricks, briquettes and wall surfaces.
Use
Indoors and outdoors; on walls and ceilings.
Suitable for mesh-reinforced plastering of extruded (XPS), expanded (EPS), stone wool insulation boards, and cement-based construction boards. Can be applied on concrete, cement plaster, brick, cinder block, and wall surfaces.
Considerations
Extreme hot and cold conditions may affect application time, curing time and strength gain negatively. Therefore, the environment temperature as well as the substrate must be between +5°C and +30°C.
Using cool mixing water and avoiding application under sun exposure may help particularly for summer days. The surface must be protected from sun exposure, wind and frost until curing is completed.
For surfaces with an ARDEX V 2001 T foundation, consider using the ARDEX B 10 cement-based satin plaster, whether as a filler or final coat plaster.
In case of doubt, carry out a test application.
